I've subscribed to around 175 RSS feeds in Bloglines, and I realised that many feeds are no longer updated. I now have the painful job of going through the list and removing those that are no longer updated. There must be a better way to do this.

theres probably some sort of greasemonkey script that can do that...
BlogBridge 2.15 - RSS News Feed Reader also does it but its probably overkill for what you have in mind...
i'll have a look around for a greasemoney hack or might come up with something myself... probably later though... i'm lazy...
